Hugh Sproat

Hugh Sproat (born November 16, 1952 in Ayr, Scotland) is a Scottish footballer who played as a goalkeeper.
Sproat joined Ayr United from Auchinleck Talbot in 1974. Keeping goal for Ayr United, he became a fan favourite before moving to Motherwell in 1979. He returned to Ayr in 1984, where he played until retiring in 1986.
