This image was emailed to me, maclean25, from the town's Deputy Clerk with the following message:

The images you requested are attached. The symbolism of the crest is as follows:

  • The shape of the shield is to simulate the footprint of the Hadrosaur, a dinosaur known to be in this area;
  • The water is to represent the Peace River;
  • The small cabin is to represent the pioneers of the area;
  • The yellow area on the left is a field that represents the farmers;
  • The trees in the centre represent forestry;
  • The tower represents hydro;
  • The two mountains represent the Beattie peaks; and
  • The sunshine represents the significant amount of daylight/sunlight we have in the Peace Region area.
