Hub Radio

Hub Radio[1], The University of the West of England's (UWE)[2] radio station broadcasts on 1449am locally or streams online via www.hubradio.co.uk . The Station boasts a varied schedule appealing to the student population and local community. Hub Radio broadcasts from the university's Frenchay campus in Bristol.


Hub Radio was taken over by Alex Bright and Rob Green in April 2007. The pair re-launched the station in September 2007 ready for the new academic year with its new image and a tight promotional budget. Hub Radio is under control and housed by the UWE Students' Union[3].
