Does anybody know if the part Ans-Liège will be faster once the new station is completely finished ?

With the re-opening of platform 1 and 2, trains from Ans will not have to slow down to take points at max. 40 km/h anymore - line 36 will seamlessly flow into line 37 again. Also, total capacity of the station will improve, since less time will be lost waiting for a crossing train to leave the station. Just a guess : timetable makers could cut 1-2 minutes from the Ans-Liège travel time. Otherwise this will serve as extra buffer time... Wakari07 (talk) 00:40, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
