This template should be called by passing a variable to it for the emperor whose arms you want to display. Use one of the following variables:

- First variable (optional) : Emperor's name. If you spell it wrong, the template will just display a double-headed eagle.
- ex. {{HRE Arms|maximilian1}}
- Second variable (optional) : Image name (don't put Image:)
- ex. {{HRE Arms||Armoiries empereur Maximilien Ier.png}}
