HR 465 (GY Andromedae or GY And) is an Alpha2 Canum Venaticorum type variable star in the constellation Andromeda. Its brightness fluctuates between 6.27 mag and 6.41 mag. It belongs to the group of CP stars (chemically peculiar stars). Its most striking characteristic is the occurrence of the element promethium in its emission spectrum. It is also a spectroscopic binary star with a period of almost 273 days and an eccentricity of 0.47.
