If anyone thinks, this section is inapropriate for an article, please change the section, but please don't remove it! It took me long to figure out, why it was virtually impossible to configure the networking capabilities of the printer, and I could'nt find any usful information anywhere else on the net.

[edit] What type of RAM?

Do the 5 series use proprietary RAM modules or can some type of standard desktop PC RAM be used? The LaserJet 4, 4M and 4+ use standard non-parity, 72 pin SIMMs *without presence detect*.
