15 worms? I read this book years ago so I might be wrong, but wasn't it 50?

It was 50. On a side note, this article should be expanded to explain why it's on the banned books list. Dariustriplet 02:26, 1 November 2005 (UTC)

It was 15 worms and the bet was that he would win $50 dollars if he ate 1 worm per day for 15 days.

^yes that is true 66.169.44.28 03:48, 6 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hang on!

Wait... I thought the book was about a contest on Conservation... If this isn't it, then what was the name of that book? Tinlv7 20:45, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

I have rarely read such a horrific plot summary. Someone please fix it. Make the pain go away...

Current summary was (for the most part) written by a nine year old. You are invited to make it better. Worenklein (talk) 04:42, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] removing sketchy bit

There's a bit on the end about in the sequel, continuing to eat worms, becoming aggressive, picking fights with girls until alan feeds him only veggies for a day. I haven't read the sequel, but even the article on it doesn't mention it, and it doesn't seem like a sensible continuation. Taking it out on the presumption it's crap.
