There is basically only one way to the self to control its brain. It has to be conscious of his own thinking, actions and leading motifs in order to do so. To be conscious means one has to be aware of the self autonomous mind inside and out- that is to say, one has to listen to oneself interior and exterior surroundings. See self-awareness.
