Howard Wolfson was Communications Director for Hillary Clinton's 2008 presidential campaign. On February 19, 2008, Wolfson was quoted by the Washington Times as saying, "The point we're making overall is that Senator Obama's record as a senator and as a public official is thin. If you're asking an electorate to judge you on your promises and you break them, and on your rhetoric and you lift it, there are fundamental problems with your campaign."[1]
On March 4, in the midst of the 2008 Texas Democratic Primary and Caucus, Wolfson engaged in a somewhat heated discussion with a Barack Obama lawyer, Bob Bauer, regarding allegations of misconduct by Obama supporters and polling officials in the caucuses. Bauer infiltrated a Hillary Clinton campaign conference call. These allegations include the refusal to allow the entrance of Hillary Clinton supporters to the caucus places. This confrontation with Bauer was recorded on audio equipment. "[2]
As of May 8, Wolfson has been confirmed to be seeking a book deal[citation needed].
