How to Be (2008) is an independant Comedy/Drama directed by Oliver Irving about a young man named Art (Robert Pattison) who is going through a "quarter life crisis". After a number of personal set backs, including a struggling singer/song-writing career, Art moves back home with his cold and neglectful parents (Rebecca Pidgeon and Michael Irving).
Having in the past recieved an inheritence from his Uncle, Art decides to use the money to fund the trip of a Canadian Theripist, Dr. Ellington (Powell Jones) to come to his home in England and help Art "be more normal".
Despite his unsupportive parents, Art attempts with his new life coach and two slightly unbalanced friends Jeremy (Jeremy Hardy) and Ronnie (Johnny White), to find a balance in his life and experience true happiness and a good relationship with his parents.
Due to the independence of the making of this film, more interest and time needs to be invested before any sort of wide distribution is conducted.
