Talk:Hovind Scale

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This seems particularly unnotable. Aside from a mention on a web forum and a nod from a blog or two, what makes this notable? Phiwum (talk) 15:42, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

Capuchan (talk) 15:57, 8 June 2008 (UTC) I agree, from Wikipedia:Notability (web) The content itself has been the subject of multiple non-trivial published works. I would contend all of the online works relating to this meme are trivial to the nth degree.

I contend that 37½ thousand hits on Google are a start; a letter has also been sent to a magazine, and is pending to be published. - RaspK FOG (talk)
I think you mean 3,500 Google results. The search without the quotation marks brings up a lot of hits that do not refer to the Hovind Scale. Once this has been published in multiple sources it would make a good article. Until then, I'm afraid it cannot - see WP:N. Thanks, Gwernol 23:14, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
I will keep that in mind; so, in case relevant citations are provided, this would be acceptable, correct? - RaspK FOG (talk) 23:48, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
Yes, as long as you have citations that meet WP:N, this article will be kept. Gwernol 00:54, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
