House of Prayer Christian Church is a non-denominational Holiness Church that was started by members that split from New Testament Christian Churches of America, Inc in 2004. They are based in Hinesville, Georgia, with churches around the country, mostly centered around Army posts. New Testament Christian Churches split from the Pentecostal church centered in St. Louis, Missouri. The leader of House of Prayer Christian church is Ron Denis. His organization follows strict religious guidelines, often recruiting new members from local Army and other military posts. The church is known to recruit at Wal-Mart[citation needed] and to send its members on post to barracks and dormitories[citation needed]. The average age of a House of Prayer congregant is 18-25 years.[citation needed]
This 'church' uses fear of hell and member recrimination to "control" their members.[citation needed] They believe in isolationism and actually feed on what they feel is persecution from Christians not in their organization.[citation needed]
Read from King James Version of the bible.
House of Prayer Christian Churches not only explains the bible to where every chapter is clearly broken down but also teaches the truth against well known sins and all worldly things that may lead to sin.
