Hounds Tooth
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hounds Tooth is a Milwaukee-based blues band. It was voted Best Blues Band in the Shepherd Express' Best of Milwaukee 2006. Hounds Tooth's vocalist Jamie Brace was the recipient of the Shepherd Express 2007 Best Female Vocalist Award.
Their debut album, Hounds Tooth (Tweed Tone Records, 2007) contained seven original songs along with covers of John Lee Hooker's Boom Boom, Amos Blackmore's Little By Little, Susan Tedeschi's Rock Me Right and was received well critically by OnMilwaukee.com and Express Milwaukee ("an exciting recording with a sensibility that should be heeded by many bands trying to push the edge").
