Hou Yaowen (Chinese: 侯耀文; Pinyin: Hóu Yàowén; July 17, 1948 - June 23, 2007), or Hou Yuewen (侯跃文) was a Chinese xiangsheng actor.

The son of Hou Baolin, a master of Guo Degang, Hou Yaowen became a xiangsheng actor in 1960. He was elected as one of the Top Ten Humorous Stars in 1994. [1]
Hou died of heart attack at his home on June 23, 2007, aged 59. [2]
