[edit] protection

The vandalism/nonsense on this page is almost daily. Wouldn't it be a better idea to simply semi-protect it? I do not see a reason for a disambig page to waste so much editor time to rvv. --Shuki 19:46, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

I just removed some myself. ZodiaccaidoZ 18:31, 2 November 2006 (UTC)

I've nominated this disambig page for semi-protection twice. The first time in Nov was accepted and then lifted only three weeks later as if it was meant to discourage specific anon editors. I renominated this week since this page is vandalised daily now, but the request was just denied by an admin who claimed that it wasn't enough to justify semi-protection. This page is a persistant magnet for vandalsim and should be semi-protected (only prevents new anon IP addresses from editing. Am I the only one that feels that this ping pong game of vandalism and rv should continue? --Shuki 12:18, 8 December 2006 (UTC) EMILY RISHEL

I just got it semi-protected!

[edit] Requested move

Hot (disambiguation)Hot — As the page hot redirects here, why not move the page to hot, which would seem to make more sense? —Kurando | ^_^ 15:09, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

Many inexperienced editors seem to assume that all disambiguation pages must end with " (disambiguation)", and this article would seem to have been affected by that. The move back (which I have just carried out) is entirely uncontroversial, and I have removed it from WP:RM. --Stemonitis 15:25, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
