Hot Wheels is a thirty minute Saturday morning animated television series broadcast on ABC from 1969 to 1971.
The main focus was on the racing exploits of a high school student, Jack "Rabbit" Wheeler. He led the Hot Wheels Racing Club.
The FCC eventually banned the television show stating that it was not in reality a television show but a thirty minute long commercial for the toys.
Ironically, the secondary cast voice-performers have had greater renown than the main characters:
