Hot Styles (The A-Team)

"Hot Styles" is the 12 episode of Season three of the The A-team. It aired on December 11, 1984.

[edit] Synopsis
Face is on a date with a Rina when suddenly two men come to take the girl away. Face chases them in his car, but the men shoot his tires out. Face tells the team that he saw Johnny Turian (a famous mobster) and the team raids Turian's place and takes back Rina but shortly after getting away Rina says everything was fine and goes back to Turian. Face is confused about Rinas loss of feelings for her and sneaks aboard Turian's yacht while he is having a party to confront her about what is going on. She says she knows Turian because she was married to his brother. Now Turian is forcing her to steal fashion designs from Jason Burnett (a very prominent designer). Hannibal comes up with a plan to make up their own fashions with the help of a Senior Citizen's Center to give to Turian instead of the real designs. Burnett has very tight security and takes Rina to a secret location to begin the fashion shoot. The team has to follow him by using a tracing device, but a security company finds the device and the team has to break in the security. Once Rina finishes her session with Burnett Face picks her up and tells her the plan to switch film. Rina agrees, but later when she meets back up with Turian tells him of the plan out of fear. We now know why Rina is so scared since turian gives Rina her child while Face and her are captive about Turian's yacht. Hannibal and Murdock fix up an old patrol boat and use it to convince Turian they are the police. Once aboard They rescue Face, Rina, and the boy and since Turian's yacht. At the very end we finally see B.A. sitting shotgun with murdock in the van. Murdock gets distracted and drives the van into the harbor where the show ends.

Since B.A. is only in this episode for a few seconds at the end, Murdoc takes over his job of driving the van. He says that B.A. has changed the vans calibration to make up for all the gold on his body. To counter balance the calibration, Murdoc dresses like and acts like B.A. the rest of the episode. He is wearing several necklaces (no where near as many as B.A. has), Indian feather earrings on his ears, and Talks like B.A by occasionally saying likes like "we ain't gonna lose these suckas"

Burnett has a private security company observing his car and the company detects the tracer the team put under the bumper. To find out where Rina is headed the team fakes a fire using a smoke machine and a tape of a firetruck to get all the employees of the company out of the building. Using the company's computer system, Hannibal is able to locate where Burnett is headed.

Murdoc and Hannibal find an old boat and begin to fix it. They clean off years of dirt and rust, fix the propeller, and put the words
"HARBOR PATROL" on the side of the boat.
