[edit] Temperatures >40

According to the BOM (at [1]) there are only 3 days per year above 40°C, so the comment about often exceeding this figure could be an exaggeration. Gazjo 11:54, 18 August 2006 (UTC)

That's interesting... I am from Horsham originally and I'm very surprised that the figure from the BOM is so low! I'm not sure that the Polkemmet Rd weather station is the one that the BOM usually goes by. There is another one in Horsham (Horsham AWS on the BOM website). ThePianoMan 13:43, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
