[edit] Depth
Article says the depth is 612 m, but the infobox states 514 m. Which depth is regarded as correct? Berland 20:07, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
The "official" depth is 514 meters. There have been reports of measurements higher than this, 612m by Telenor is the highest I've heard of. The thing is, the bottom of the lake has deep ravines and is very uneven, so if you measure 3 times on aproximately the same spot, you get 3 different results. No thorough survey for absolutely deepest spot has been made to my knowledge. --Eivind Kjørstad 09:49, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks, I rewrote the text a little bit. It would be good to have references for both the official depth, and the Telenor measurements. --Berland 16:26, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
