Hortensia Bussi

Hortensia Bussi Soto (b. 22 July 1914) also known as Hortensia Allende, was married to Salvador Allende, the President of Chile who was overthrown in a military coup.
After the coup she went into exile in Mexico. She campaigned against the Pinochet regime, and stood for Rector of the University of Glasgow in 1977.
