The hortanet Lan party is a computer and social meeting that take place in Meliana, "Horta nord", . The first edition was celebred the 21 and 22th of july of 2006 in the "Casa jove de Meliana"
The main topic of the Hortanet is the free software focused especially in GNU/Linux and other open source systems and security developements.
The hortanet is important, because it was the first lan party focused on free software in this area.
