How long did the battles last after they restarted in 1417? And what were the Hooks named for? Rmhermen 17:56, Nov 8, 2003 (UTC)

Hooks are what you use for catching cod. The battles lasted until 1428 (the zoen van Delft, literally "kiss of Delft", but it probably means "reconciliation"). After that there was a short period of fighting around 1432/33. There were smaller battles outside of the periods that are mentioned now, for example when Maximillian of Austria (Cod) became count of Holland late in the 15th century.
I will be adding more information to the page later, but it's hard to be complete, as it is a very confusing series of apparently unconnected battles. Eugene van der Pijll 19:21, 8 Nov 2003 (UTC)
