[edit] Origin of the name?

I have looked high and low for the origin of the name (and some history, any history!). If anyone can shed some light that would be great (citing to reliable sources of course). I suspect it the derivation is unknown which is why I couldn't find it, but a negative implication is all it is.--Fuhghettaboutit 02:05, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
