"Honkin' Down the Highway" is a song written by Brian Wilson for the American pop band The Beach Boys. It was released on their 1977 album Love You. A remake is scheduled to appear on ex-Beach Boy Al Jardine's album A Postcard From California, with Brian Wilson making a guest appearance.
A slightly edited version was released on a single, in which the drum machine intro is cut off. The same version erroneously appeared on the 1991 cassette and CD reissue of 'The Beach Boys Love You' on the Caribou label.
