The Hong Kong Vase is a Group 1 flat horse race in Hong Kong for three-year-old and above thoroughbreds run over a distance of 2,400 metres (approximately 1 mile 4 furlongs) at Sha Tin Racecourse in mid December. It currently offers a purse of HK$14,000,000 (approximately US$1.8 million)
It was first run in 1994 and is one of the four Hong Kong International Races. It became a Group 1 event in 2000.
