Hong Kong Golf Club

Hong Kong Golf Club is private club and one of a few Golf clubs in Hong Kong.

Founded in 1889 as the Royal Hong Kong Golf Club and played in Happy Valley from 1889 and established other courses:

  1. Fanling
    1. Old Course 1911 - 18 hole
    2. New Course 1931 - 18 hole
    3. Eden 1970 - 18 hole
  2. Deep Water Bay 1898 - 9 hole

Because of the historic significance, the Half Way House of Hong Kong Golf Club, Fanling, is graded as a Grade II historic building.

Besides golf, the club offers swimming and tennis facilities to members, as well as excellent restaurants and top class accommodations.

The RHKGC became the HKGC in 1996, the change made necessary by the handover in 1997.
