The Hong Kong Bach Choir (香港巴赫合唱團) is one of the premiere large-scale choirs in Hong Kong. It boasts a multi-national membership of 80 singers. It regularly presents two large-scale concerts each year in Hong Kong.
[edit] History
The Choir was first founded in 1970 by an ensemble of 15 singers to support the local orchestral group Baroque Ensemble for a performance of a cantata by Johann Sebastian Bach. Over the years, the Choir has expanded significantly both in singing members and the repertoire covered.
