"Home and Away" was a song released in 1989, by Australian singer Karen Boddington and New Zealand singer Mark Williams.[1]
The theme was composed by Mike Perjanik in 1987 for the Australian soap opera, Home and Away. The song charted and peaked at #73 in The UK singles chart and remained there for 2 weeks.[1]
The single contained both the opening and closing themes used in the television show with additional ad-libs and a saxophone section unheard of in the television broadcasts.[citation needed]
