Urban War is a tabletop wargame designed by Urban Mammoth. It is set on the planet of Iskandria, which is in a far distant universe from our own. There are seven playable factions - The Junkers, the Gladiators, the Triads, VASA, the Viridians, the Syntha, and the Koralon.

The senate rules the brutal Junker legions from their home planet - Irongalss. The senate is comprised of power hungry senators that rise and fall with the time, though when confronted with aggresion, the senate will unify and act aggresively. Recruting for the legions is never a problem, as most crimes have sercive in the legion as a punishment.
The Junkers are believed to be based on the Roman Army with many unit names and designs being similar to that of the Roman Army.

To keep the populace of Ironglass entertained, the senate use worthless criminals or privately owned people as Gladiators in the brutal and bloody Junker Arenas. As they are distanced from the main Junker society, they have their own honour code.
The Glasiators are believed to be based on the Roman Gladiators with very similar backgrounds and models.

Stepped in their ancient history and honour, the Triads mercilessly rule the criminal underworld. They are loyal only to their clan, will throw themselves into danger without any care for their own life, have utter respect for their elders and dedicate themselves to perfecting the martial arts. Rarely venturing into the outside world, the Triads only come out when their activities force them to do so.
