This "little" village is notable for in the past being listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the longest village in Britain. I live nearby and it does take an awful long time to drive through, but I have no direct proof whether this record still stands or is still listed in the book. X2qat 13:59, 9 August 2006 (UTC)

I heard that it is the longest village and I also live in the Village and it can take up to 5 minutes to travel through. Although would you call it a little village?

Removed the comment:

"Its most infamous inhabitant is a reclusive writer with a Canadian obsession."

as not particularly encyclopedic and needlessly cryptic.

That said I'm curious who this reclusive writer is and, should anyone know his or her secret identity and wish to restore the comment with further elaboration, well, I think that would be just swell. Thehappysmith 03:43, 3 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Is this really a stub? I mean, is there anything more to say about this little village? Thehappysmith 14:38, 28 Dec 2004 (UTC)
