The Holy Land is an area of south Toxteth, Liverpool, composed of several streets with Biblical names, Moses Street, Isaac Street, Jacob Street, David Street. Many homes on the streets are Victorian terraced houses.
After the assassination of Richard II of England, Henry IV of England promised to make a "a voyage to the Holy Land" in Richard II.
