Holy Cross of San Antonio is a private, Roman Catholic high school in San Antonio, Texas. It is located within the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of San Antonio.

Holy Cross was established in 1957 by the Brothers of Holy Cross. [1] Located at 426 North San Felipe, Holy Cross of San Antonio is an independent Catholic co-educational high school that has been serving the community since 1957. With a current enrollment of 500 students, Holy Cross offers value centered, quality education to 9th through 12th graders. Holy Cross welcomes students of different abilities and backgrounds and prepares them to integrate Christianity into their learning and living, to address the challenges of society, and to acquire virtues for effective service to others.

Holy Cross offers Football, Volleyball, Soccer, Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Track, Golf, Cross Country and Tennis. Holy Cross plays it's athletic rival Central Catholic every year in the Holy Bowl. From 1957-1997, Holy Cross competed in the Texas Catholic Interscholastic League, winning 17 state championships: Basketball, 3 (1991, 1992, 1994); Baseball, 2 (1968, 1990); Football, 6 (1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997); Soccer, 1 (1991); and Cross Country, 7 (1988, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997).[citation needed]
Since 1998, Holy Cross competes in TAPPS, winning 13 District championships: Track, 1 (2003); Football, 4 (1998, 1999, 2005, 2006); Soccer, 1 (2003); Basketball, 1 (2005); Tennis, 1 (2006); Golf, 5 (2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006). Holy Cross has also received state Honors in Basketball (2005), Baseball (2005), Track (2004) and state champions in Golf (2002)[citation needed]

Holy Cross "Knights", named for the English term for a social position. The Fighting Irish ("The Irish") is the mascot of The University of Notre Dame in South Bend,Indiana also a Congregation of Holy Cross Institution.
