Holway is a suburb of Taunton the county town of the English county of Somerset.
Once a village in its own right it is speculated that the settlement that grew to be Taunton was sited there.
Holway was originally one of the Five Hundreds of Taunton-Dean, the infaring division or district of the three districts that made up Taunton-Dean [1].
