The Holmbush Centre is a complex on the outskirts of Shoreham-by-Sea just off the A27 Shoreham By-Pass. It contains a Tesco Extra, one of the flagship Marks and Spencer stores and the fast food restaurant, McDonalds. Nearby, there is a large Homebase with several other stores inside and a swimming pool. It is highly accessible with ample parking space and free bus services which operate around the county.
[edit] Internet Fad
Tesco Extra of Shoreham in recent times has been the victim of an internet fad which involves a customer entering the store and filming their visit as they persist to be awkward and unpleasant to staff in a comical fashion. One example which is adopted by most who visit the store is to continue asking for a Gateway 5054b PC base unit computer. Videos are then uploaded to sites such as youtube where they are likely to be deleted. Many have compared this to happy slapping. [1]
