Hockey North America
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hockey North America (HNA) was established in 1980 as a non-checking, non-fighting ice hockey organization separate from USA Hockey. In addition to leagues in several areas of the United States and Canada, HNA also offers adult beginner hockey school, vacation tournaments, and "National Team" trips to Europe.
One of the highlights of HNA is the National Championships held in either Toronto, Canada or Las Vegas, Nevada. Teams qualify by either having to win their local tier championships, play in the local playoff finals or receive a special invitation from the league.
