This is demonstrably false. An example: Croton-on-Hudson, New York. Some place names even have three dashes in them (although I don't know of any that are municipalities). An example: Winchester-on-the-Severn, Maryland. --66.159.224.106 01:28, 30 Mar 2005 (UTC)
