I have just read your page on the hms pickle i am a descendent of leut john richards la penotiere and as far as i know according to our family tree he actually died in 1834 not 1843 and is buried in menheniot church yard in cornwall. myself and my family went to a post chaise re enacted to commemorate 2oo years since the battle of trafalgar and unvailed some plaques it was a wonderful experience,if you would like to contact me you can do so by emailing me at hay-lee@blueyonder.co.uk thankyou hayley jolley
