Ship facts to be verified

Most accounts state the HMS Duke of Gloucester was being constructed or repaired at York (present day Toronto, Ontario). Many accounts say that the Americans captured it after the Battle of York; while other accounts claim that it sailed away from York just days before the battle. These facts need to be cited with references. SCrews 03:00, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
