HMS Clorinda

HMS Clorinda is a fictional frigate from C. S. Forester’s novel Hornblower in the West Indies. In the novel, Clorinda is one of the ships assigned to Horatio Hornblower’s first command as an Admiral. The Clorinda is featured in one of the main stories in the novel, the capture of a slave ship at Puerto Rico.
