Hjalmar Winbladh[1] is a serial entrepreneur from Sweden. Today he is CEO of Rebtel, which he co-founded in early 2006. His previous venture was Sendit AB, which pioneered mobile Internet services via mobile operators in 1994. He and his co-founder, Jonas Lindroth took Sendit public in Sweden in 1997. Sendit was acquired in 1999 for $150 million by Microsoft where Hjalmar served as general manager of Microsoft’s Mobile Internet Business Unit until 2001.

In May 2006 Hjalmar Winbladh co-founded Rebtel with Jonas Lindroth. Rebtel offers its users the chance to make incredibly low cost (or even free) international mobile-to-mobile or mobile-to-landline calls.

In March 2007 Rebtel received the Red Herring 100 Europe Award[2].

In August 2007 Rebtel launched their Facebook application called Let's Talk[3].

In January 2008 Rebtel launched their second Facebook application, Group Talk. Group Talk lets users set up free international conference calls that can include both Facebook and non-Facebook users[4].
