Smokey Robinson on Terry Gross today said he used to get the magazine "Hit Parade" which had lyrics which were usually wrong. --Gbleem 20:20, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

Song publishers put intentional errors in lyrics so as to catch pirate publishers (Mapmakers do the same with false obscure streets, etc.) Most published Dylan lyrics omit an entire stanza of every song. Ortolan88 17:58, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
