I think that this article should be renamed "Republican history of Turkey" in line with Economic history of Turkey or Consitutional history of Turkey. What do others think? Baristarim 14:01, 5 December 2006 (UTC)

Republic of Turkey is the name of the country itself. --Mugsywwiii 03:55, 28 December 2006 (UTC)

I realized that this article lacks references, once my contribution about Kadınlar Halk Fırkası was seen as inaccurate and deleted. Therefore I have updated my contr. with references included. I think we should do the same thing for other facts given. - Zirowerdy, 13 Feb 2007
