[edit] Citations

"The first archaeological evidence of cosmetics usage is found in Ancient Egypt around 4000 BC. The Ancient Greeks and Romans also used cosmetics. The Romans and Ancient Egyptians used cosmetics containing mercury and lead." Could we have some specifics and citations?

I quite agree, and will be trying to find some. In the meantime, all of this article needs expanding and referencing. I've added an expand tag to the article in recognition of the fact. -- TinaSparkle 20:10, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

What were they used for? Who used them? What did they use? This article needs a lot of work. It's missing a lot of important information. SadanYagci 20:20, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
