[edit] this article

Me working on this article should in no way imply that it has a right to exist... I just can't help it.

Seriously, is there really a need for this article? Between the Tampa, History of Tampa, Ybor, and now History of Ybor articles (among others), there's a lot of redundancy, imo. Zeng8r 20:28, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

Actually, each major city has it's own history page e.g. History of Los Angeles, California. The History of Tampa was started about a couple of years ago, but the quality of the article was poor until you came along to help me tremendously with the quality. Thanks Zeng8r! Since Ybor City has an extensive history as Tampa itself, I also made an separate article, just in case the Ybor City article gets to lengthy. A great thank you for halp improving the Tampa articles. Cheers! --Moreau36 22:53, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] revamping underway

The first third or so is complete, have at it. Is there a way to format the in-text citations so that it's cleaner than the (Mormino) style??? Zeng8r (talk) 20:51, 9 December 2007 (UTC)

I've cleaned up all the references in this article using what I read at WP:REF. I've also added the pagenumbers template. If you have the books please add page numbers between the periods .. in each ref. Filpaul (talk) 16:08, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

That's what I was looking for; couldn't find a template for that. Thanks! I'll try to flip through the books and enter the pages later today. Zeng8r (talk) 16:23, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
