[edit] Summary

Diagram of the HiPER ICF experimental setup, from an early review. Many details in this image are subject to change, and a few already have. The general layout is laser beamlines to the upper-left, with the target chamber in the lower-right. The beamlines on the left, closest to the viewer, is the ignition system, with the compression lasers on the far side of the building.

Image provided by Mike Dunne of the CCLRC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, UK. I believe anyone is free to use this image for just about anything, but I have stamped it with a wiki-only tag for now because I didn't ask too specifically.

Here is a snippet of the message in question:

the wikipedia requires freely distributable images. Is the image

you sent available under this sort of "license" -- ie, would it be ok to use it in the article? Fully attributed, of course. Feel free to use the HiPER image. Just credit: CCLRC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, UK (if you need a website link then use www.clf.rl.ac.uk or the HiPER website www.hiper-laser.eu).
