uhm, usa vs north korea backed by USSR wasnt a war?!?! or serbia vs bosnia backed by russia?! who wrote this!? must be nice to think there is so little war going on :) Confirm that all the *campaigns* are based on real wars and correct please. I dont think any missions are, even the afghanistan-ussr ones —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.24.134.243 (talkcontribs) 18:22, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

The Mil Mi-24 didn't exist during the actual Korean War of the early 1950's. The simulation features hypothetical missions and a hypothetical campaign taking place between the Soviet backed North Korean Nation and the U.S. backed South Korean Nation during a fictional second Korean War in the 1980's or 1990's. Serbia vs Bosnia is not featured in the simulation. The Mil Mi-24 was however used in the Soviet war in Afghanistan Aerialvendetta 09:15, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

User manual states (pg 16): 'The campaign scripts are based on topical and historical information. The political and military tactics portrayed are totally fictitious'. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.24.134.243 (talk) 09:29, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Remade "Menus" section.

I spent ten minutes trying to edit the "Menus"-section until I realized it was way too long and detailed, so I remade the whole thing and called it "Gamemodes" instead.--Threedots dead (talk) 01:56, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:HindScreen1Wik.jpg

Image:HindScreen1Wik.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
