Himasha Wanniarachchi (born May 22, 1985) is a Sri Lankan Chess player once ranked number 42 in the world & former Chess Olympiad Champion. He is one of only four players in history to break the 1200 mark on the FIDE rating list before reaching the age of 20.

Himasha currently lives in colombo, Sri Lanka and actively participates in various programs to promote the game throughout the country.
