So is it called Himling or Himring? My map says Himling [Tolkien, J. R. R. (1999).The Fellowship of the Ring. London: Harper Collins.]
- It is called Himring only. Himling is an error on CJRT's part. Surendil 12:36, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
Do we know why this may have occured? Is it simply that the letter 'r' was confused for the letter 'l' by CJRT? Loki at6 05:56, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
- Everything is quite clearly explained in the note at the end of the article.Surendil 14:38, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
