I just gave a look at the page about the anthem, on the official site of the Albanian president [2] (the link is to the Albanian version. There should be an English version of this particular page too, but looks like it's not working at the moment). Apparently the lyrics written on the page are more similar to the original poem as you state above (for ex. "Të gjithë Atij duke u betuar"), but the wma file of the anthem, that you can download from the same site, still uses the most known lyrics (the one's posted on this site), (ex. "Të gjithë atje duke u betuar"). Sounds a bit confusing... since the changes apparently should have been made four years ago. jonosphere 00:30, 30 April 2006 (UTC)

In regards to the lyrics of the original poem, I found an interesting article from Vasil Tole [3] (unfortunately this article doesn't appear in the English version of the site), who is a composer and has written a booklet on the history of the Albanian national anthem and the controversies associated with it. jonosphere 00:31, 30 April 2006 (UTC)

I don't know if this will be seen by anyone relevant. But 217.224.207.5 keeps posting the Albanian language version over in the Maltese wikipedia. Does anyone have any idea why that might be happening? Srl 08:44, 11 Apr 2005 (UTC) Talk

It is translated too literally in the English version. The word order is incorrect. It must be changed.

Neither the anthems of other countries featured in wiki don't have a proper poetic translation. I think the translation should be as much faithful as possible to the original. Or someone more able should put a third column with a poetic version, if needed. Dimror 09:59, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
